Through the Ipswich Opportunity Programme we are investing in Ipswich. As a School, early years setting, sixth form, Further Education College, Alternative Provision or SEND establishment, based in the Ipswich Opportunity Area, you can access funding in the following areas:
|Ipswich Evidence Based Practice Fund Funding up to £25,000 is available per project for education establishments in the OA to trial evidence based projects which increase attainment for disadvantaged students in English, Maths or STEM subjects.

|Facilitating Links Fund Funding is available to support educational establishments to visit other educational establishments around the Country, who have overcome similar challenges. The IOA will reimburse for reasonable travel, accommodation and expenses for groups of colleagues to visit and offer return visits for other education establishments. In return, an evaluation form will be completed identifying the learning and how this will be implemented. Application forms can be found here.
The fund is open from September 2018
The Department for Education has also announced funding to help schools set up and run Breakfast Clubs. Family Action, in partnership with Magic Breakfast, have both been named as the charities that will run the clubs. Schools should submit the attached expression of interest and send to email@example.com. Successful schools will receive:
· A start-up grant of £500 for all schools.
· Schools who do not currently have healthy, sustainable breakfasts already in place will receive free breakfasts. The contractor will work with schools to put a longer term, sustainable plan in place.
· Some schools may be eligible for additional support on the basis of a thorough needs assessment.
