Tell Your Story grants Info event 14th September 3.45-4.30pm 

A grant of up to £2500 is available for schools, settings and colleges in the IOA to partner with a local artist or arts-based organisation on a project to develop children and young people’s oracy and/or emotional literacy within the curriculum or as an enrichment activity. More details are here

IOA Headteacher meeting 17th September 2-3.30pm  Central Ipswich venue

IOA and Felixstowe Headteachers are invited to attend a Leadership Meeting hosted by the Chairs of our Education Leadership Boards Clare Flintoff and Craig D’Cunha. An opportunity to look at the IOA year ahead and contribute to the legacy discussion.

Youth Board Focus Group Saturday 18th September 11am-1pm 

The first working lunch meeting of the IOA Youth Board, which will meet half termly this year to ensure young leaders have the opportunity to influence decisions in the IOA. If you have a youth group or students council and would like to send a representative contact Ben Gough ben.gough@suffolk.gov.uk for more details, and for a letter and consent form.

Sharing Learning Hub Launch 30th September 3.30-4.30pm  

The Opportunity Area Sharing Learning Hub will be a comprehensive directory of the projects implemented with OA funding in Ipswich, Norwich and Fenland and East Cambs. Packed with case studies, resources, impact and insights from big projects to smaller classroom level action research projects, the hub enables staff in schools, colleges, early years settings and other providers to connect to colleagues locally and share their experience of “what works”.
