During the period of partial school closures due to the Covid 19 pandemic, our team of remote learning support assistants will meet on Thursday afternoons to share good practice in supporting children, young people and their families with remote learning. This slot is also an opportunity for ongoing training, to delve into the latest research evidence about effective strategies in home learning, and to connect with other organisations that can support children and families at this time.
Teaching assistants and support staff from all Ipswich schools are welcome to join these sessions. We’ve included the session aims for Thursdays up to February half term, and participants are warmly invited to shape the programme going forward.
If you would like to join the group regularly or just drop in to one of the sessions below, please contact Hazel Weekes, Remote Learning Projects Coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org and she will send you the Zoom Link.
